Thanks, but as I mentioned the New Comment / Awaiting Moderation notification email never gets sent out, only the default wordpress one does for the custom post type. This was my issue!

I guess I will keep looking for a workaround until the new version is released.

So I guess I am out of luck until the next version. Do you have an ETA on when that new version will arrive?

Also, by any chance, If i wanted to edit the default email notification that goes out (which seems to be working) and add my own html, do you know how i would do that? That seems to be the only workaround until the next version of your plugin is released.

Custom Post Type. As mentioned above, I create another notification for a new comment on the Custom Post type, but it sends out an notification before the comment is approved, which is not good, that is why I am trying to use the ” comment/awaiting moderation ” notification.

I only have “Comment Approved” Installed, which notifies the commenter when their comment is approved, i tried disabling that and testing, but no change.

I’m not positive that you understood the issue correctly. BNFW is NOT sending any emails out for the when I create a new comment/awaiting moderation notification and send it only to the author.

To verify that the system knows who the author is I tried turning on the default wordpress comment notification and i do receive the default comment email, but I never the receive the BNFW one, which is the issue I am trying to resolve. To summarize, BNFW is not sending out the comment/awaiting moderation email. I have tried all of the steps in the FAQ, but nothing has resolved it.

I am using the same theme and plugin, it seems like it is a problem with the theme or plugin, have you tried reaching out to them for support?

Are you guys using any sort of comment plugins?

Same here on my website, it happens for everyone regardless of user level.
