Then in my opinion it’s the one that breaks the thing is the one that should fix it.
JUST AN OPINION:
I agree with you. But, it maybe best to ALSO say, “I’ll see what I can do to work with the Page Builder plugin author(s)”
Even if you don’t do anything to your code that additional statement sure seems like it would build a stronger community around your plugin.
