It would be great if the attribution could instead/also be in the caption feed, hyperlinked if possible. See here for an example of how the Unsplash plug-in does it (Imgur gallery of three screenshots).
I feel it’s easier to delete it if people don’t want it, than to manually add, and it probably encourages more people to (albeit passively) include attribution, which is nice for the photographers.
I suspect that the Unsplash plug-in may end up abandonware now they’ve been bought by Getty, so your plug-in is going to be the primary and best way for people to get images.
