In reply to: Password protect the entire siteThank you for your reply! I saw this but wasn’t sure if the cache-cookie thing is complicated for a dummie such as myself.
All the glossary entries have their own URLs like any other posts. Aren’t they supposed to be found by google? Becouse it wouldn’t happen. Maybe it’s somehow connected with the problem of not appearing in the glossary list, when trying to set a tooltip.
I tried, but it doesn’t work. The main problem remains, no entries would appear in the glossary list if I try to set a tooltip or a link with the provided buttons. As it doesn’T work neither in other computer and browsers I guess it’s not about browser incompatibility.
The glossary list seems to be empty although there many entries.
Thank you very much for the support so far and merry Holidays!
Thank you very much for your replies!
Sorry, I’m not familiar with the WordPress error log file. Where do I find it?
The new version doesn’t work either, unfortunately. First and main problem, in Chrome the ITG Tip button opens the “Insert a Tooltip” window, but in the “Glossary Term” section there no terms at all although my glossary contains about 60 terms which I can open and edit from the backend.
In Safari the “Insert a Tooltip” opens, but shows only the bottom line with the “Ok”/”Discard” buttons which wouldn’t work and I have to close the tab of the browser to get back to editing the page. In Firefox the “Insert a Tooltip” window opens, looks normal, but wouldn’t react to clicks or anything so again I have to close the browser.
As soon as I can, I’d try it at another computer. All my experiences are from a MacBookPro from 2012, El Capitan 10.11.3- This reply was modified 8 years, 3 months ago by ist4000.

Still the plugin isn’t working, but this is another topic.

In reply to: [iThoughts Tooltip Glossary] Buttons in the text modeHi,
you are incredibly nice and helpful, but still the plugin isn’t working for me. Since I honestly can’t see where it could be my fault I think it’s on the plugin. The rating is, of course, not about you as a developer, but about how much I’d recommend it to someone in my current situation. At the moment, I wouldn’t. As soon as I figured out that the plugin actually works I’d immediately change the rating.Thank you for your patience with that.
Hi, thanks for your reply. I tried it but it doesn’t work at all.
The “upgrade” from WP Glossay to iThoughts Tooltip Glossary kept entries of my terms but I can’t connect them to the words in my pages. The “Add a glossary index” button doesn’t do anything, never. The “Add a tooltip” button opens a window but doesn’t find any entries of the glossary.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Glossary] How to have A-Z overview start on A section by defaultSame question!
I added both
.home .page-title { display: none; } .home .entry-title { display: none; }
to the style.css of my 20-14 child theme and it work probably mostly due to the second line

Maybe some custom css in a child theme?

In reply to: [Customizr] Menu – Shadow/Size/Logo/Background @customizerThank you for your response, Michael. Your answer helped a lot. I knew that page but I was not sure if there is something for me. It was not easy but I found some things I needed.
Some things I couldn’t solve at all.
(Unfortunately I don’t see a possibility add a png of the menu bar to this post for better explanation.)
1) How can change the height of the menu bar? (The background color behind the text)
2) Is it possible to change the transparency of the menu background color? (Not the header color or image)At the moment I have added the following custom css:
.tc-header .outside, .site-description, .inside.site-description { display: none; } /*Slider size*/ .carousel .item { line-height: 0px; overflow: hidden; min-height: 150px; } /*Header image*/ header.tc-header { background: url("https://probaum.is-great.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/header_20_13_2.png" ) ; } #main-wrapper { margin-top: 40px ; margin-bottom: 0px ; background-color: #e5e3dd ; /* Change pink */ border: 2px solid #3a5344 ; /* Delete if no border needed */ padding: 0 10px 0 20px ; } /* Adjust Menu (red) text color, (Garamond) font-family, (1.5em) font-size */ .navbar .nav > li > a, .navbar .nav > li > a:first-letter, .navbar .nav > li.current-menu-item > a, .navbar .nav > li.current-menu-ancestor > a { display: inline; color: White; font-family: Garamond; font-size: 1.5em; padding: 5px 20px; } /* Adjust Menu colors - Normal */ .navbar .nav > li > a, .navbar .nav > li > a:first-letter { color: lightgray; text-shadow: none; } .tc-header, .navbar-inner { background-image: linear-gradient(to bottom, rgba(0,0,0,1), #000000); background-repeat: no-reapet; border-radius: 1px 1px 1px 1px; box-shadow: 0 1px 4px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.067); min-height: 10px; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px; } /* Reposition Navbar Box - change top/left as needed */ .navbar-inner { position: relative; top: 50px; /* Adjust using -1px move Up, 1px move Down, 0px No change */ left: 0%; /* Adjust using -1% move Left, 1% move Right, 0% No change */ } /*menu bar size*/
