Hello softmodeling

I am not interested in migrating ….. I never asked for that.

My requirement was having single user database across all sub-domains using drupal, wordpress etc.

I have found a plugin

This allows me to connect to any database including drupal.

Now my problem is that I am using PremiumPress / DirectoryPress theme to create a directory and the theme is not supporting external user database.

With normal wordpress installation it is working great.

I hope to find a solution. I have asked theme developer as I have purchased the theme.

I want to import Plimus datafeed [from Plimus affiliate network]. Plimus datafeed has about 40 fields.

I am also using Advance Custom Fields Plugin. I want to save these fields in individual custom fields.

The feed has three URL’s [more information, trial download and buy now.]

There are over 6 fields for Price [ standard price, discount, netprice, for recurring prices: first year price, secind year price, etc… Than currency units etc.]

I have not tried the plugin yet. If you want I can send you direct link to plimus feed.

I added a column “PRODUCT_NAME” but still gettingthe same error message

The “PRODUCT_NAME” column is added in the first colum.

csv file is created with excel and save as “csv – comma delimited file”;

Should I choose “TAB” delemited” or any other ….

I also did not find any link to developer web site or forum; suggest what can be done.

I created a SQL from all table and checked that there is no “PRODUCT_NAME” in my database.

Than I checked “messages.php” file in wp-post-corrector and found following code lines:

echo '<p class="errormsg">'.__('Please make sure "PRODUCT_NAME" column is in the CSV file, other wise you cannot insert the information.').'</p>';

But I did not find any such field in the sample csv file given, please give proper csv file structure.

I am also watching for reply as I want to use it for 3.1.2 version

Update:
I was using IE 7 and Update Options button was not responding.

I tried with version 1.5.4 and also with 1.5.3 but same.

Then I tried with FF and it worked…. NO ISSUES

I am yet to try payment and other things.

I have seen many open source systems not working properly in IE.

Author may look in to the issue.

I have to check the safety issues, if it works I will surely donate.

I would like to have comment Safety / encription .

I reinstalled the WP 2.7.1 afresh and there was no issue.

Then I installed my theme “Gandhi” and problem started.

The theme gandhi seems to have problem. I have posted a query with its author.

Can anyone help how to work around

some times when you copy by double click, it takes an extra character.

I have faced this many times and hence avoid double click to select for copy paste sensitive data

I also had problem of automatic update; it was giving permission related error.
From my Plesk control panel I gave full permission to wordpress folder and subfolder for WP user.
The automatic upgrade feature worked perfectly.
You can use appropriate option in C-Panel
Remember to reset the permission (for security reasons)
