Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I have already given the complete page width to the table, so there is no scope to expand that.

Any idea why does unchecking the option “Enable Horizontal scrollbar” does not help. I thought it would do the same that scroll-x false does.

I would really appreciate if you could think of any other way to freeze header while disabling the horizontal scrollbar.

Hello – Thanks for the reply. Actually, scroll-x was working perfectly for me (I don’t want any horizontal scroll, and scroll-x helped with that).

I have removed scroll-x, added the css code that you provided. The option for Enable horizontal scrolling was already unchecked.

Now Fixed header is working, but there is still a bit of horizontal scrollbar. Is there a way to get rid of it (I might have to add 2-3 more columns to the table, so adjusting padding further might not work).

Is there a way to disable horizontal scrollbar, without using scroll-x: false? I tried unchecking the box “Enable horizontal scrolling, to make viewing tables with many columns easier.” but that did not work when the table has many columns.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I removed the option of publish posts for my author, so that editorial team can check the posts first.

Is there a way to give ratings rights to those who do not have publish post options?

Yoast – I am not sure which posts mentioned that this functionality would be removed; I hoped to see such an announcement under dashboard of plugin. Also, I was surprised to see that these features are mentioned under the premium version of the plugin:

Option to track views per author
Option to track views per post type

I understand that you might be using a different way out to implement it in premium version (probably content grouping), but from a user’s perspective it does feels like a free feature was made paid.

Thanks for sharing this, I really appreciate it. I had to currently disable the plugin as it was overlapping the content for mobile users. I will try out this solution once the responsive version of the plugin is out.

Just wanted to throw in my two cents:
1. I don’t have TinyMCE Advanced plugin and I am still getting this problem.
2. I tried installing TinyMCE Advanced and then disabled it, just to see if that works, but no luck.
3. I can confirm cokeyblokey’s observation that if we click on update or save draft etc., then the new set of fields is added.

And this does needs addressing, or at least a workaround.

Hello Alex – Found the problem. It was with Javascript, as you had mentioned.

I am using W3 Total Cache to minify Javascript. In that, I had chosen to embed swfobjects.js file in Body section, but apparently it has to be embedded in head section. I changed that, and it fixed the problem.

I would still like to know if you see any other errors with javascript, please.
