Will do. Thanks, Ethan. If I can’t get the site key to work, I will create a new post. I suspect, however, it’s my issue with Google Analytics and not yours with your plugin!
Linda
WebNut, thank you for your suggestion.
Thanks to you, I checked and saw I have 2 Google accounts with 2 different email addresses. Although I haven’t quite figured out how to get the correct one working, I now see that the email address/Google account is what’s causing my site key error.
Now to try and figure out how to get it all working again! Sigh.

Okay, I’ve got it. This is very embarrassing to admit, socialdude, but I realized I was clicking in the wrong place! Re-reading your original response about what should happen, I saw that it was the pop-us that needed to be clicked, not the icon. Duh.
Sorry for my misunderstanding and for taking up your time due to my goof!
All 3 work perfectly … if they’re clicked in the right place!!
I love your plugin and apologies again for being confused.
Linda
Sure, socialdude, I will check with them; however, a couple of clarifications before I do:
1. Are Facebook and Twitter possibly cut because I don’t have accounts with them?
2. Is the missing tool tip pop-up also true of LinkedIn? Or does it work differently?
Thanks again for helping me through this!
Linda
Thanks so much for your fast response! ?? Impressive!
I understand what you said re. the URL and it makes perfect sense.
What I don’t understand is what should happen when I click one of the buttons. Nothing happens for me.
My understanding is FB and Twitter won’t do anything because we don’t have accounts for either. BUT shouldn’t something happen when I click LinkedIn? My business partner and I both have accounts there.
Or am I missing the point entirely? If so, apologies for being so dense!!

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Submit button gives oops errorHi Harish,
Apologies for sluggish reply!
I checked, and that’s what’s weird: there are no errors listed in the Debug log. Is there anywhere else to look?
Thanks for trying to help me with this,

In reply to: [Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons] How to Delete ShortcodeHi Social Dude,
Update:
Disabling didn’t work after clearing cache and trying Private window. BUT what I hadn’t realized is that unchecking the short code option in plugin Settings did not remove the short code from the page. When I went into edit mode on the page, however, I found the plugin’s short code block, clicked “remove block” … and it went!Hope this might help some other user.
Thanks for helping me with this … much appreciated.

In reply to: [Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons] How to Delete ShortcodeP.S. I checked some more and discovered Autoptimize does caching so maybe it’s the culprit. I’ll try disabling it and let you know the result.

In reply to: [Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons] How to Delete ShortcodeAha, I see what you mean. No, I don’t have a caching plugin (trying to avoid having one!).
Is there anything else I can try?
Thanks.

In reply to: [Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons] How to Delete ShortcodeI’m happy to try, but not quite sure how. Can you give me a little more explanation, please.
Thank you,
Linda
Thank you for checking it out for me. You were exactly right: once I cleared the cache, the icon functioned perfectly.
Apologies for taking up your time with a problem caused by me, but thank you so much for your help … and for fixing it for me! ??

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Less disappointed and Happier now I’ve had time to work with itHi Gerhard,
You must be a little psychic. I was planning on re-evaluating WooCommerce over the weekend. I’ve come to realize that much of why I’d rated it so poorly is related to issues outside the main focus of the plugin.
The reason we chose WooCommerce was to have the ability to sell both online access products now and, possibly, downloadable and shipable products later. Having worked with the plugin for a number of weeks, I realize it wasn’t fair to complain that a plugin designed for an online store didn’t fit our unique needs. Also, it’s become obvious to me that it does a lot of things automatically and wonderfully in the background without my having to do anything. This wasn’t clear to me until I’d worked with the plugin for a while.
Consequently, I’ve now given it 4 stars. The only reason it’s not 5 is due to its lacking the few features I’d mentioned above, each of which would make life easier for small businesses who lack technical resources.
Haven’t yet re-tried a free product to see if I need to post a problem in the forum. Once our site is further along, I will do so.
Thanks for your reminder. And thanks WooCommerce for making so feature-rich a product available free.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Feature request – Media & Text block Image LinkAnd double ha. I have the exact same request. Right now, I can make my image clickable, but it doesn’t align properly with the text. With Media & Text, the alignment is perfect, but I lose the ability to have a clickable image. This would be a much welcome feature for those of us who rely on blocks, not code, to make our pages look professional.
