I once agreed with you, shoobeedoo, but am finding that Gutenberg becomes easier the more I work with it. To be sure, there are still lots of tweaks to be made (like this image/link one), but WordPress seems to be working on doing the tweaks and responding to us users. And I do remember lots of frustrations for non coders (like me, too) with the classic editor!

Because your support is so responsive, I’ll give your plugin a try again when I can grab some time to work with it. Will let you know how it goes and appreciate your willingness to help. ??

However, I tried a different plugin which I could get to work so have de-activated yours.

Smush said they were aware of the issue and were working on it. So, we shall see.

To be honest, I don’t know how you keep up with all the little bits you have to do in order to work with the myriad plugins out there … not to mention all the constant changes in WordPress itself! BUT I’m glad you do. Smuch works wonderfully and I love it.

Wonderful! Don’t know how you keep up with SO many other plugins doing their updating, too. Anyway, sounds as if you’re already on top of this.

Should I send a note to Smush about the issue? As yet another squeaky wheel?

Oh, sorry about not realizing that, Social Dude. You’re right: once I unchecked .png, the icons were back on home and blog. ??

One concern: now png images won’t be included in lazy loading, not a good thing.

Any chance your developers could correct this in a future update?

Hi Support,

I am having the same problem. The icons no longer show on the sidebar widget on our blog or in the pop up that appears when a user reaches the end of our home page.

I’ve re-entered and saved all the settings, cleared the cache, tried other browsers … no luck.

Is there no other solution besides re-installing? If I re-install, will I lose all my customizations? Can I revert to the older version of your plugin instead?
