    Hi John,

Good news! When I checked the redirect in the plugin on Admin panel, I got a positive message with “200 it’s working”. When I plugged in the URL on the old site, it redirected perfectly to the page on the new site!

So time seems to have helped and all is well.

Thanks for your time on this. I love the simplicity of your plugin!

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, John. The link you included is the information I receive, too. When I search for “mygoforthegreen.com/our-company”, that page comes up instead of the tworg.com/about page I thought I’d redirected to. That’s why I’m so puzzled.

The get the invalid message popped up when I tested the redirect.

Update: checked plugin page on site again and saw this message (it wasn’t there before):
    API working but some errors.
    URL: https://mygoforthegreen.com/?rest_route=/

GET POST TypeError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.

Unable to make request due to browser security. This is typically because your WordPress and Site URL settings are inconsistent, or the request was blocked by your site CORS policy.

I just checked and my WordPress and site settings are exactly the same. Will check the link provided to REST API info to see if that helps and post back. I have no idea how to check CORS policy…above my tech limited knowledge level.

Thanks again for your help with this,

    Linda

Thank you! That worked. I realized I had created a separate row for the Navigation on my site. It was in the Buttons row on your demo. Once I put it in the same row on my site, it aligned correctly.

    Appreciate your help!

Well, it’s been much longer than I’d hoped to get back to this. I’m afraid I don’t have any helpful suggestions to offer. We haven’t managed to correct the issue of WP Forms and WooCommerce with the code we tried. Since we’re developing a new site, I’ve decided to leave this issue alone for now.

Thanks for the help you offered here and for the suggestions you made…much appreciated! ??

Hi Prashant and thanks for your message. I have not forgotten about this, just been buried in other stuff! I am working with a helpful WordPress guy on trying to get the code into our live site to see if it fixes the issue with the form. If you could leave this thread open a little longer, I’d like to post the results of the “experiment” in case it can help others. Hopefully I can get it tested before next week.

    Sound good?

Sorry for the confusion! I was trying to copy the whole group that comes before the Footer. It included the entire “More Inspiration” group.

UPDATE: I’ve just gone through the original group on your theme, comparing it line by line with the matching group on my stage/test site … and they are exactly the same. So it looks as if the issue was not my messing up the group on my test site, but a number of columns issue.

One of your support staff is working to help me with this issue in another thread so you can consider this thread at an end. ??

As for copying groups, that’s more a FSE learning thing and my responsibility going forward.

Thanks once again for your responsiveness and willingness to help,

UPDATE: Think I’ve figured it out by trial and error. Thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me, Nikhil, and letting me know about WP Forms and WooCommerce. I appreciate the links you sent and will pursue them. I’m also working with a support contact to see if we can do something with the code I mentioned as a workaround. If that works out, I’ll let you know here since it could help other WP Forms users who also use WooCommerce! I’d like to stick with WP Forms if possible … I love it!

Thanks for following up, Robert. No problem at all re. long silence. I’m still working on a fix with help from a wonderful Ask Woody forum contact. It has been delayed at our end, however, due to a Covid issue and then a hurricane! Almost ready to get back to it and try the code fix based on what you identified in your reply a couple of weeks ago.

Once we’ve got the issue corrected, I’ll be sure to post back here. I’ve very much appreciated all your attempts to figure out what’s happening on our site. ??

    Back soon,

    Hi Nikhil,

I appreciate your trying to help further. The page where the reCaptcha is not appearing is https://mygoforthegreen/my-account, which is a WooCommerce page.

I’ve been doing more research and have learned that a line of code is missing from the My Account page on the live site. The missing code is:
    <script src='https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?onload=submitDisable' id='login_nocaptcha_google_api-js'></script>

So not sure this is a WPForms issue any longer. If it isn’t, please let me know and I’ll search for solutions elsewhere. I’m sure you have lots of your own WPForms issues to resolve! ??

    Thank you,
    Linda

Robert, thank you for investigating further! Should I try adding the script onto the page? In the footer? Or should I look for the code on the stage site and add it to the code on the live page?

On rereading your reply again, you may just be identifying the code that is NOT working. If that’s the case, should I go back to just copying the source code from stage to live My Account?

No rush … you’ve been very generous with your time! I’m going to poke around in the source code on both pages while I await your reply.

    Thanks so much,

    Linda

Wonderful stuff, Lisa. Thank you so much. I do know none of them had admin, author or editor access, thank goodness! I like your idea to check file manager and will do so. Thank you, too, for the WP Forms link and the one for Securi advice.

I’ll work through your suggestions over the next couple of days and post back how I do.

I REALLY appreciate your help and ALL your ideas, as well as your time in providing them to me.

    Back to you soon,

Thanks for getting back to me, Lisa … and so quickly. Here are some answers:
    – I think they signed up as Subscribers (I’m remembering since I deleted them all so can’t double check)
    – the Membership – Anyone can register box in WP admin Settings is not checked; Comments are enabled on our blog
    – not sure about timing but I suspect it’s been over time; I have been getting emails from WP Forms (free version) regularly that tell me about dozens of Contact Form sign ups … none of which have ever come to me as site Admin. I’m wondering if that is a clue. Can’t go to WP Forms for support it seems since we have a free version (I have tried).
    – re. database, happy to check but not totally sure how to get this information for you, sorry.
    – the good news is that I have not noticed any changes in content or functionality on the site. Does this mean I should just not worry?
    – had forgotten about that Securi scan and have not run it for quite a while. After running it, here are some of the findings: no malware, not blacklisted, medium security risk (can’t attach so I’ve copy/pasted it below my name) and the recommendation below:
    Protection Recommendations
Directory Listing is enabled on your site. This can lead to information leakage. We recommend disabling Directory Listing, learn how.

Does any of this give you some ideas about what I should do next? If you need that DB info, I’ll research how to access it.

    Thanks again for helping!

Security Headers – Not too sure what any of this means! ??

Missing security header for ClickJacking Protection. Alternatively, you can use Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors ‘none’.

Missing security header to prevent Content Type sniffing.

    Missing Strict-Transport-Security security header.

Missing Content-Security-Policy directive. We recommend to add the following CSP directives (you can use default-src if all values are the same): script-src, object-src, base-uri, frame-src

Leaked PHP version. Your site is displaying your PHP version in the HTTP headers. Please set expose_php = Off. Affected pages:

Thanks, threadi, and sorry! I tried to delete my message from here but the edit option was gone. I have started a new thread for it.

Further thought … this may be crazy, but what if I copied the source code from the My Account page on the stage site to the same page on the live site? I would try it on a new page first to see if it works. Maybe there’s something in the code that’s a bit different. I got bleary eyed trying to compare them on adjacent screens … there is just so much “stuff” there!

Won’t do anything until tomorrow when I’m less fogged and until I hear from you so no rush.

    Linda
