In reply to: [NSFW] [iQ Block Country] /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php ?In most cases that is caused by using a plugin that interacts with that admin-ajax.php file.
But we’ve also seen random access to that file without any need, for what we don’t know so you’ve got the option to block it or not.

In reply to: [NSFW] [iQ Block Country] /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php ?Hi,
On the home tab select the option where it says “Don’t block admin-ajax.php” if you want to unblock it.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Conflict between Plug-In & SEODid you enable the appropriate services on the services tab?
Did you check with the developers for SEOPress if they have some callback system that needs to be unblocked before the plugin can fully function (for instance put an ip address or ip range on the whitelist)

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Block for specific pageYou should set blocking of the frontend to on and only block those specific pages you want to block. If you have blog posts as well you can allow those by selecting the appropriate categories.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Geolite2-Country.mmdbHi,
It takes the location from WordPress itself. This may not be the location you necessarily see in a filemanager of via (s)FTP upload but it is the correct location on the server itself.
Are you sure the filename is uploaded to /htdocs/wp-content/uploads/ and the filename is correct? (It’s case sensitive)

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] 1.2.17 version listed by Plesk WP Toolkit as vulnerableThere is btw quite an easy solution for most who do not use a proxy or anything else as the ‘vulnerability’ exists because the plugin has to check for an IP address in various other headers that are set by for instance CloudFlare or other proxying/CDN software.
If on your tool tab at the end of the page there is an IP address at “REMOTE_ADDR” you can set on the home tab the “Override IP Info” to REMOTE_ADDR
REMOTE_ADDR can still be vulnerable to IP spoofing but is less easy than using the regular header IP spoofing. But again in my opinion if someone wants to use a method like IP Spoofing to access your website you’re in a different kind of league of websites than a small business, personal blog or other regular site.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] 1.2.17 version listed by Plesk WP Toolkit as vulnerableThe plugin is not a full proof security toolkit. If someone wants to get to your website they can with any security solution.
If someone has the knowledge to spoof IP’s and wants to attack your website they will find a way no matter which solution you use.
For 99.99% of the websites the plugin will just work fine and that is to block normal users and automated bots from your website. If somebody wants to take the time and effort it takes to spoof IP’s you’re in a different kind of league.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Only allow some countries for one product pageHi,
No that would require a different approach of the plugin that you are able to set the blocked or allowed countries on a page specific level currently it is build to just have 1 setting of blocked/allowed countries.
I would not be sure that actually having such a setting wouldn’t put too much of a strain on the performance.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] DBVERSION Undefined in Version 1.2.15For any 7.3.x or 7.4.x it should not be a blocking issue (unless you have display_errors on which on production sites you shouldn’t).
It should however be fixed in the new release
