In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Pls add option to update homepage too on post update@emrevona I don’t know why, but not in all cases – I use a static page as front page in my site (in fact, in several sites). In that case, the page is not updated, despite it should (as explained in case 3 in that URL). iPhoneros.com is one of the examples, but have others. Do you want me to send you logs or help you debug this?
Good, I’ll be looking forward for it, thanks!
But that option deletes *all* cached files, including those of other posts, pages and category page of the site, not only the home page, right? ??
ok, I’ll try but it’s just the Home Page what I update every 15 minutes; Reason is, newly published posts should show up in the Home Page sooner than one day, right?
Whenever we publish a new post, the home page remains showing the previous posts until it’s updated. That’s the reason why we choose to use 15 minutes. All the other pages update only after a week.
@emre here you have it, didn’t touch anything but only one Cache expiry rule is left, not the two you saw in the previous screenshot -> https://s32.postimg.org/wd2jlww1x/onerulemissing.jpg
I know this is weird but I promise you it’s happening. If you need me to do anything to debug it, please let me know.
Yes, usually only one of them (home page refresh every 15 minutes) but today, for the first time, both of them (the home page/15 min and all pages/once per week). They simply leave the exclude rules empty, as if I never configured anything there.
It’s a heavy blog with 11K+ Posts and 140K comments.
The URL is iphoneros.com, the mobile plugin I am using is wp-touch (version 2.8.3) you can download here: wptouch.com
You can check the theme on my site using an iOS UA, if you want the theme I can mail it to you. I think the wptouch.com site only offer previous versions of their themes/plugins for the support forum, and you have to register your account for that.
Here you have a screenshot.

As you can see, the new blue icons for the shares count that appear at the right of the button appear distorted. Had to go back to 2.9.x version to get them working normally, albeit with the previous button style. Checking your screenshot, this seems to be a theme-conflict maybe. On top of that, the new icons appear below the “Enviar a:” customized phrase that can be set, in 2.9.x they appear to the right of it, so that’s also an issue to solve but most importantly is the blue count badge that do not seam to render fine in mobile devices. It displays just fine in Chrome/Safari on a Mac though.
I am using wp-touch plugin for the mobile theme, but oddly enough the icons do not render fine using the desktop theme on an iPhone / iPad so maybe that’s not related.
