If a folder is downloaded, simply convert it to zip and upload it the zip file on WordPress (Themes -> Add new (from computer)).

You don’t need to unzip the file. Just go to Themes, and upload and activate it (be sure that you DELETED the BlackBird theme before doing this).

Then, you will go to (WordPress) Settings and set the Home page as static one.

From my experience, the theme options are not lost… But I recommend you to backup them first.

1. Temporary activate another theme
3. Delete your old Blackbird theme
3. Download the zip I linked to your computer
4. Upload it using the WordPress theme uploader (Themes -> Add new (from computer))
5. Activate it
6. Set the front page

Hope it works. If it doesn’t, just ask for more info.

A simple solution that I found is by installing version 1.2.0.

(then, set your front page in settings if you modified it)

Also, do not upgrade it to v0.2.1 unless you know what you are doing.
