In reply to: How to reset twenty twenty four themeHi Lina
I carefully followed your instructions, however when I reinstalled and activated Twenty Twenty Four, the default templates and patterns were not visible in the site editor settings and I couldn’t even figure out how to manually insert the default main navigation menu. So I’ve uninstalled the theme and reverted back to my old Tienda (circa 2014) theme which although no longer receiving updates, functions OK with the latest WordPress version. Having used Twenty Twenty Four for only a week, I realise that it’s rather complex and time consuming to learn.
In any case, if you have any more suggestions on how to get back the original templates et al, I would consider learning how to use it more effectively.
Once again, I do appreciate your help on this.
Robert

In reply to: How to reset twenty twenty four themeThank you.
I should share that I reinstalled a a previous older theme I had been using until recently, and all the settings, layout, menus etc are more or less intact. Curiously, there is no sign of modification by WooCommerce associated Plugins, despite the fact that I neglected to ?modify the site’s?
wp-config.php
?file before deactivating and deleting the plugins.?So the problem is solely with the Twenty Twenty Four Theme. I’m rather confused . . .Thank you for responing @erania-pinnera.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce disabled after failing to updateHello again, I decided to update woocommerce again via the admin plugin page. This time I received a failed update message again. However the plug-in actually did update. I need to figure out what’s causing this problem, wondering what the best procedure would be to solve it?
Thanks.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce disabled after failing to updateAh, sorry Mike, I didn’t see you quick reply. In any case, do you think I should try and update again or try some testing first?
Thanks.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce disabled after failing to updateOK. I used vaultpress to restore the site. So it’s up again. But I’m reluctant to try updating woocommerce again until I figure out what’s causing the site to keep having random “Oops! That page can’t be found” errors when navigating to posts, pages and plugins in Admin. Not to mention failing and then disabling plugins!
Any pointers would be much appreciated.
Thanks again.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: [Loco Translate] PO file has different source strings to "woocommerce.pot"Thanks for the quick response.
I did what I should have done from the get go – disable all plugins. Discovered Booster for Woocommerce breaks the Japanese Woocommerce Translations.

Thank you. I repeated the process of deactivating all plugins, and discovered that it was in fact a plugin that is causing the problem.Forum: Plugins

Thanks, I tried deactivating all plugins.
I forgot to add that I can see the English posts when I am logged in as admin.
Could it be a privacy setting somewhere? I have set the posts to public and publish immediately. RobertoThanks Jeremy,
That’s what I thought from reading previous posts on the subject. Just checking if anything had changed since then.
