Is there no fix or plugin that converts the WordPress.com short code into working embeddable videos on a private install?

This happened to me on an old version of WordPress. I just clicked “upgrade to WordPress 2.9” and after the install, the dashboard was back to normal.

Would it have anything to do with installing 2 instances of WordPress on the same server and activing GDStarRating on both instances? Thanks for looking into this.

I’ve used both 2.7 and 2.8 and received these errors on both.

I installed the exact same theme and plugin files in two different WordPress instances on my server. The WordPress blog installed on my root folder gives me the above errors, while a second blog in a subfolder of that same root folder works fine.

The theme/template files are exactly the same on both blogs. The only files that would be different are some plugins in the root folder blog were auto-installed with the WordPress plugin tool/browser, and all the plugins on the subfolder blog were installed via ftp.

My question is: is there a way for a visitor to manually re-order posts using a set of links on the sidebar? Like this:

Order posts by Name
Order posts by Date

And when a visitor clicks on either one, it re-sorts the page according to that order?

I’ve checked on different computers with different IPs. The star graphics appear but I can not add new votes/ratings. When I click on the stars nothing happens, they are just a static image.
