So if I activate it I should see the side bar as my old theme does have a sidebar with widgets? I do not see them in the live preview though.

OK. I was doing a live preview and I did not see the side bar even though my current theme 2010 has a sidebar.

Has it been resolved/fixed yet?

I had to restore the plugin back to yesterdays date. The update broke my site. The site would not load and neither admin login would work.

Thanks. What about upgrades to WP? Are upgrades done just to the WP core or even the themes? I am using Theme 2010 and why was my theme upgraded as I lost the changes to the style.css file. I thought only the core is usually updated, not the individual themes. Or is Theme 2010 part of the core WP application?

Will a Theme 2010 child be upgraded when WP goes through it too?

SO basically I will download the theme again and re-name it and make changes to the new CSS. When I switch to the new theme will all the widgets remain intact as it is almost the same theme.

Thank you. Will consider a child theme in this case. Are they pretty easy to create and use?

So the secondary is right below the primary widget area? I thought it was like 2 separate sidebars, either on the right or left or one on each side. Not sure when I tried to use it if it added items under the same primary widget area.

I think you need to remove the block from the theme you want to use. Remove /* and */ where the theme design you need to use is.
