Thanks for responding and at least for giving me a direction to head.

Before I let you go could you answer one more question? Is there as maximum number of entries for the database? I just want to make sure that this is not what is causing the issue as there are a lot of entries in the database.

The new update caused our site to crash. This is the second time this has happened since I have been using this plugin. Luckily after the first time I built another site simply to test the updates before updating it on the real site.

For those of you who have this problem, deactivating the plugin brings the site back up.

So what is the solution? Just leave it? During WP Installation I have no control on the prefix names. Do I delete the original fields?

After fighting with this for 3 days now and deleting a site 6 times and re-installing WordPress (deleting databases, users etc) here is where I am at.

It appears that every time I created a clone from site A to a new site B the clone was adding the table fields from site A to the existing new site B. So I had two option fields, two user fields etc. but each had its own prefix. This was causing everything to link to the original site A. I created two new clean sites and used your development version. It is now working but there are still two sets of each field. This is not the way it worked in the past is it?

The servers where I am setting up the sites are on two different servers. The install on both servers is creating a prefix for both tables other than simply wp_ . Could this be the issue?

Thank you for letting us know. I am always worried it is something we did. Thank you for working on it and I cannot thank you enough for this plugin.

I have several websites that are doing the same thing. I have the latest version and the backups are there (I can see them in FTP) but they do not show up in the dashboard.

Over a month and nothing. I have sent emails to you at your request with more information I have given you sample sites and even built a new test site. Not a word back.

We own or manage close to 100 WordPress websites and after having several of these kind of unresolved issues I am taking Jetpack off of all of our sites. There are other plugins that can do everything Jetpack can do and with better support.

I just setup a new WordPress account on the same server as a test and it also did not work with “post by email ” .

I am having the same issue only the pics are being upsized from 640×40 to 1024 x1024

When I have a picture uploaded via email with an iPad on a site using this plugin the picture seems to load into the media folder resized as it should, however on the actual page website it is being expanded and distorted.

I am trying to figure out if it is a an issue with my setting, the plugin or my theme.

I think this is one of the best plugins created. I have used it on dozens and dozens of sites on three different servers and it works like a charm. If you look at the post above I too had complaints only to discover it was me and not the plugin.

So that being said and to try and track down the issue, have you gone into your old site, (the one being cloned) via ftp and making sure that the backup file is there?

As far as it making a difference about how your permalinks are set, I don’t think so but I think the Author needs to address that.
