The updated version 4.4.2 is still showing the error , is this the latest release? thanks for all your help in resolving this issue..
Problem partly resolved –
in cpanel >switching off ModSecurity:> word press>settings>elements>(switch on off as required)>save>switch ON ModSecurity.
Do this every time you need to amend the settings page.

I have upgraded to PHP 7.4 unfortunatly the same issue –Settings>Elements>(Verticle Timeline ON)> Save
the Saving button continues to rotate .. not saving.
Elementor continues to work in web site with no problems.
P.S I have tried PHP 8 but this causes issuesOperating System:Linux

PHP Memory Limit:768M

In reply to: Problem With Add MediaI have the same problem on 3 sites I have designed, It appears to be a bug that is not calling the media-upload.php.
I have temporarily got around this by typing the following into the browser
https://your blog address/wp-admin/media-upload.php?In other words when you press insert media button check the browser info I can almost guarantee it will stop at wp-admin/post-new.php
so delete post-new.php and replace with media-upload.php
A bit messy I know but if anybody can sort out the bug I would appreciate it..
