That’s Ok. I just uninstalled it, and the site is working fine.

It seems really neat, but wont install. At all.

By the way, I am running the WPTF Gallery PRO, that was purchased.

I have gotten used to it now. When I am adding pictures to the left or right, I am adding the code:

    style="border: 0px none; margin: 5px;"

It’s just as easy to type that in to the code that is already in there.

I would add it to the CSS, but it differs with different areas.

decisive, eric.. the same thing has happened to me on four of my sites that automatically upgraded. It was so much easier to click on the pictures, and adjust the borders horizontally and vertically, and also make any adjustments to the text while you were doing that; but now, you basically have no control over the picture, unless you add more to the img command itself, after the picture is already up. That just takes another 10 to 15 seconds typing it in. More of a pain.

Also I have noticed the Word command it gone. Just the Text command is left.

What else was taken from us?

I just started to use it, for a customer at my business. He loved it. Was running it for about one week. No problems at all. Then yesterday after the upgrade, nothing would show in the upload bar, after it was selected to add to a gallery or anything.

Then if we turned the flash off, and tried to upload it that way, it gave us an error that was to some effect about the php.ini file. Thought that was really odd, when we had no problems before.

I hope they can fix the NextGEN quickly.

Same over here. It was running fine before the upgrade.

    Jon,

So you ran into the same problem on an IPower server? I have a personal site on an IPower server, running WP 2.2.1 (still way back there) and it is running fine. So I am glad I didn’t upgrade.

I ran into the problem on the StartLogic servers where I have a few business sites, and it went wacko with the version 3.0.1, until t31 helped me.

Aren’t the two companies like brothers anyway? They share servers in Phoenix?

    t34:

It worked great. Thanks very much. I should have ran into you at first. It just about 12-14 days to fix this problem! Again, thanks a lot.

    Hi Princess,

I cleared the cookies numerous times, and that just doesn’t work on this end. I have talked to a few people on twitter, who have had the same problem on StartLogic. It has to be on there end and not ours.

The funny thing is that I have taken my computer in to have it checked; it was fine; had to pay for it.

This is what we have learned so far:

I have 3 separate sites that run WordPress 3.0.1 on different servers at Startlogic, until Monday the 11th. After the 11th, all of the sites, started to give me the error when I was logging out of WP:

    The Connection Was Reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or to busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any page, check your computers network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web.

Like I said before, even clearing the cookies on this end wont get rid of the URL:

    …/wp-login.php?action=logout&_wpnonce=0c89124c67

    But I have learned this:
It will work using the computers of this type:

    All Macs
    Windows XP
    Windows NT
    Windows 7 Start
    Windows 7 Premium

These two are not working with the log-out with WP 3.0.1 at Startlogic:

    Windows 7 Professional
    Windows 7 Ultimate

So now I am starting to think maybe it was something that last Tuesdays Windows Upgdate may have had something to do with it.

    t-p,

I must have phrased that wrong. My computer that I use is that above. I have it on a regular server at Start-Logic.

When I try to log off I am still getting an error page, with this in the URL:

    .../wp-login.php?action=logout&_wpnonce=0c89124c67

I have even tried to disconnect my antivirus, no luck, reinstall 3.0.1, no luck, checked my entire system for viruses, clean.

I have no idea what it could be.

    Hey t-p,

I tried the site with the admin account on two other systems and the site seems to be working fine. (Win XP Pro / Win XP Home)

When I try it on the Win7 system, that is where we seem to have problems.

    We are using Firefox 3.6.10
    Win 7 Pro
    4 Gig Memory
    1 TD HDD
    No Viruses

I will try the steps that you gave me – and Ill let you know, what is happening.

Remember to create the wp-gallery sub-directory, in the wordpress directory. It looks like that is what it is searching for.
