When it comes to matching between different posts, Internal Link Juicer uses the keyword that was set first for linking first.

So you could remove the “longer keyword” first, save it and assign it again.

Please also note that the setting “Order for configured keywords while linking” in the Internal Link Juicer settings can have an additional influence.`

The current version is 2.0.4 – can you confirm it also does not work with this version?

I am sorry, but “not working” does not really give us any information about what might go wrong on your end.

Thanks for the accurate reporting.

This is regarding to very large sites. We are already working to fix this situation soon by batching all jobs into smaller junks to compute to soon be completely independent of the size of a site.

Can you please send me a screenshot of all your configured settings on the Internal Link Juicer options?

Please also send me the keywords you have configured on other posts, which you think don’t get respected in the example you have attached in this thread.

We will try to replicate it on our end and see if there is any kind of issue or if it is just a wrong configuration or similar.

The way the Internal Link Juicer works is to not persist links in your content (nor manipulate the content of your site in any way). With that, you cannot do anything wrong – because after you decide to uninstall the plugin your site will be like it would be without ever using the plugin.

This approach brings maximum flexibility for you to test things, switch options, and so on and so you can always rely on the Internal Link Juicer will only link stuff that you have configured. If you change your settings, your links will also change. So this behavior is intended.

The big deal of the Internal Link Juicer is, that it does everything on high performance without causing you any kinds of additional loading time (so you are good to go to just let it be installed and get used to all its fine-tuning features to level up your internal linking process).

For now, it does not seem to harm the index building but we’ll be working further on this.
