    Hi Umberto,

the behaviour you are looking for, is included as a feature in our PRO version. I know, this is not clear described in our docs – we are currently working to improve this.

You can find it there within the settings panel:

Settings -> General -> "Minimum required user role for editing keywords"

There you can find any role within your current WordPress environment to choose for editing the keywords.

Hope this helped. If you have any further questions, I would be happy to answer it ??

    Hello mrmad,

there is a manual function for this; it cannot be configured automatically at the moment.

I would like to take the idea of an automated approach with me into the discussion for upcoming features in future releases.

In our PRO version of Internal Link Juicer you have the possibility to use a shortcode for that. Paragraphs within the shortcode block will be excluded for link generation.

    For example:
    [ilj_no_linking]paragraph that don't gets linked...[/ilj_no_linking]

    Hi Melvin,

thank you for your appreciated feedback!

This problem was already on our agenda. Glad to announce, that we fixed it by the latest update (version 1.0.4) from today.

It doesn’t matter, which language in your WordPress installation is configured. As we currently have no italian translation, you will see the default english version.

You should initiate an update to the latest plugin version. After that, things should be fine again ??

If not, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

    Cheers

    Hi son0fhobs,

there’s news on your suggestion for improvement ??

With the new update from today (version 1.0.4) you now have the possibility to change the order of the configured keywords regarding their usage.

You can find the configuration under the plugins settings:

Internal Links > Settings > Tab: Content > “Order for configured keywords while linking”

There you can choose your prefered strategy for the keyword order:

    • First in – first out
    • Pick those with highest word count
    • Pick those with lowest word count

We improved the implementation by respecting the possible configuration of keyword gaps (which get higher priority, depending on their gap value).

Hope you enjoy the improvement / feature.

As a “thank you” for your participation, I mentioned you in the changelog.

    Cheers

    Hi John,

    thanks for your appreciated feedback.

We never said, the plugin would define the keywords by itself.
The problem with automating this kind of task, is that you may loose control over the process and your posts may get linked with irrelevant nonsense (mainly within larger topic clusters with similar keywords).

But there are still some ideas on our side, which could optimize your workflow and automate the process for adding keywords by smart recommendations. We have to evaluate and test these first.

If you have any ideas on how to make this process better for your daily work, you are invited to get in further touch with us and share your thoghts on this topic.

In SEO, longtail keywords are more advantageous. The more words, the better.

We are aware of this fact and we are working meticulously with our solution to ensure the required flexibility in the keyword configuration. Among other things, the gap feature should help the user to bring even more variations into the anchor texts.

Regarding your provided approach: that’s a good hint. Thanks for your solution! We will think about how we can implement your proposal. In the best case we can offer a solution where the user can flexibly influence the sorting of the keywords by different settings. Maybe we can come around with a solution within the next release version.

With “contact page” I ment the possibility to contact us, through your WordPress dashboard (Internal Link Juicer Menu -> “Contact Us”).

Thanks for all feedback so far. Hope we can stay in touch in future and I hope the Internal Link Juicer can help you by getting your daily SEO work done in helpful manner.

    Cheers ??

    Hi son0fhobs,

    appreciate you liking the plugin.

The current strategy of picking keywords is first in first out. That means, that the keyword you configure first, gets searched first.

    In your example:

These physics explanations rock” – will it link “physics” or “physics explanations?

if you enter the keywords in the order

    1. physics
    2. physics explanations

the phrase “physics” will first get used if a match exists.

We will take your feedback for better clearify this in our future versions. Maybe we will provide a more configureable behaviour in the future, too.

If you have any ideas to improve this strategy, please feel free to submit a feature request directly through the plugins contact page and get in touch with us. We would be very pleased about your help

    Hello thburkart,

unfortunately, it seems that we haven’t provided enough information for each user about the use of the plugin yet.

Can you give us some more background information about what has already been done by your side and what doesn’t work?

Yes – that is definitely possible. The feature you are looking for is part of our Pro version. The basic (free) version only supports adding keywords to any kind of posts and pages.
Also links only get placed within posts and pages and not on category descriptions in the basic version of Internal Link Juicer.
