You need to “CHMOD” your theme files (all the files under your wp-content/themes/”the theme you want – directory”/) to be 777 (writeable).

You can do this using an FTP program like Filezilla. If you choose to use Filezilla, login to your site, change directories (by double clicking on them) to the theme files of your choice. Highlight the ones you want, right click, select “change attributes”. Type in (or check writeable on all) 777 in the selection box. This will allow WP to edit those files within the admin panel.

So, for intance, my site is the Mallow theme, modified heavliy with Gespaa theme elements, as well as many code parts from Kubrick.

Does this mean I have “developed” a new theme, or just changed some stuff on an existing theme, which has many parts of others inside it?

I’m trying to do the same thing, but all I want is to add a “home” link on the sidebar, so that when people are viewing any page, they can click on the button.

Hey, TPT boy, what are you using for your gallery? Is that a plugin?

I found that if I clear my .htaccess file and republished my pages, things seem to work.

Anyone have any advise?

Okay, it’s working now. I had to remove the page slug and page order, save it, then it showed. I went back in, reordered the page the way I wanted and everything is okay.

Just to see what I am talking about, my site is here. The “home” and “forums” are just links to other parts of the site, whereas the “About” is an acutal page.
