Thanks, I did this and it worked out great!

I fixed this by doing the following:

Creating a separate non-wp page on the where I can set and destroy a cookie. Then in the header.php file I checked for the cookie. If it doesn’t exist then open the page at https://www.site.com/sub/newname.php

Just for clarity the stuff at https://www.site.com/sub/newname.php is NOT using WP.

Thanks but that is a little different than my situation I think. I do want all my WP stuff in my root, it’s just that for now I want https://www.site.com to point to https://www.site.com/sub/newname.php but still have the WP install accessible in the root by going to https://www.site.com/index.php

Deleted and re-installed, works. Thanks! Looks like this plugin will be just what is needed for the site!

Tested in FF and Chrome with same results…just tested in Safari/Win and the box comes down further and says LOADING EVENT DETAILS… but never moves past tyat. I added a test for 06/25/11

OK, nevermind…I see what you are saying. Although the primary has my name in it…sure would be nice to be able to change primary username but what you are saying will work.

How do I do that?

I have 2 admins setup, him and me with our separate correct email addresses, and his email is already set under SETTINGS > GENERAL as the email address. Is there somewhere else I’m missing to change it?

Maybe this is where the problem lies. I am using a godaddy reseller and set the site up under their value applications. I put myself (my email info) in as the initial account during setup, so that I would get any emails etc.

However its someone elses site. I have their email set under settings > general, but I’m still getting the notifications. I want them to get the notifications now that its setup.

Both of our email address are set up as ADMINISTRATOR role.

No forwarding, these are 2 separate persons emails (one mine, one someone else).
