Cheers Doodlebee, although I think the bug must be fixed because I’m still called “Home” and it seems to work fine.

OK I’ve spent all day trying to resolve this without success so wasted a lot of time on it. I’ve now worked around it by putting hyperlinks into the pages (which is how my original site handled it). It was a nice-to-have but not going to waste anymore time on it.

BUT

I still want to sort the font size issue and another issue I’m now falling foul of is that, on occasion, I’d like to add an extra line space but it won’t allow me to. It just deletes it when saving or updating the page. Any help appreciated.

Now we’re getting complicated lol. I wouldn’t even know where to find the correct files (the database?) let alone if I have the right tools on my PC to fiddle with it.

I agree it’s probably something I’ve “fiddled” with but unfortunately there’s nothing so helpful as a “You’ve-messed-it-up-so-reset-and-start-again” button ??

THanks for the Google info, that puts my mind a little at rest. Gonna go and try to re-install the theme again in the vain hope it’ll work this time. There’s a huge “head-shaped” dent in my wall right now… I was so close to goign live with it ??

1. Tried it. I reactivated twenty-ten, deleted painter, then re-installed. But, the problem persists. It even came back with the custom colours i gave it before :-s

2. Fair enough, but can’t seem to achieve point 1 above.

3. I looked at this but my question as my pages then stay in a sub directory, is it true that Google (et al) won’t loo at them?
