Hello, we definitely are supporting this plugin and updating it regularly. Our customers typically directly email us for support. I will reply to you via email now. “Authentication Failed” means the API credentials being used are not valid.

I would check WooCommerce > Settings and make sure under CARD TYPES, AMEX is selected as being supported. I would also check with your merchant service provider, as not all provide AMEX as an option.

Accounts that are Sandbox accounts will work out of the box with the correct username and password entered into the settings panel. Live accounts can easily be placed in text mode in the gateway, and all transactions run through them during this time will be considered test transactions.
We do service the European market. For full stack solutions (including processing), we only service accounts larger than $30,000.00 USD per month. In those markets, we handle most major currencies.
Our gateway alone, at $10.00 + 10c, can also connect to all international processors listed on the bottom of this page:
https://getdotpay.com/payment-processing/. You would need a relationship with one of the processors listed in order for the gateway to know where/how to connect.Forum: Plugins

As I wrote above, we do offer echeck through our gateway ( but not through WooCommerce at this time ). All of our literature and the free plugin shows this outside of my poorly worded answer above. Please accept my apology. We don’t have a signup fee, we don’t charge for our plugin, and we don’t have a termination fee. I don’t know how far you traveled into setting up a new account, but I assure you there will be no charge. PS, I do love your website and wish you the best in your business journey.

@mlbadvertising , great question. Unfortunately the scope of the question is outside of our support forum here because you’re asking about WooCommerce core logic, and not our gateway plugin logic.
