Actually, I found a plug in called ‘Speedy Page Redirect’ does the job MUCH cleaner.
Just create the page, at the bottom set where you want to redirect to and Boom! All done.

This is how the redirect functionality should work. It seems to just overide the permalink portion.
Excellent! That workaround did the trick.
This would be a VERY helpful core function in the future. I’ll consider this one resolved for now though.

In reply to: [Customizr] front page featured image animationAlso, check different browsers. The “zoom” will only work with specific browsers that support it. Or at least that’s what I think I read in the documentation.

In reply to: [Customizr] Unable to edit slider imagesNo, it’s pretty well hidden.
It’s in the MEDIA area. You go to the specific images you want to add and set them there. It should be near the very bottom of the page when you go to edit the image.Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: [Customizr] External link on home pageIf you are trying to place external links in the side bar, you can do 2 things:
1. under APPEARANCE>WIDGETS use a TEXT widget, drag it into the sidebar you want it in and add the link as straight up HTML text.
or
2. Set the link (or links) up in the LINKS section in the admin, then go to APPEARANCE>WIDGETS and drag the LINKS widget into the sidebar you want.
I personally find option 2 the best bet.
