It still a problem with the jpg file. But the most important is the pdf file is could be opened.

Additional info:
When I checked the folder /wp-content/uploads/mdocs in my hosting and viewed the pdf files directly from there, each file is displayed perfectly.

Here I found the alternative plugin which is newer than this abandoned plugin:

Disclaimer: I have not install that alternative plugin yet.

Thanks to make this special version

I think it would be more useful if there is an option after the current user reaches it expired date:

• automatically change the user’s role
• delete user

And an option to set email reminder xx days before the user get expired.

I think I have the problem as yours. I want to implementing your code in my functions.php but I need your help (or from anybody in this society).

From your example code, I know that your custom post’s slug is “book”, and your custom taxonomy’s slug is “book_category”. But I have no idea what is the “novel_category” as in your code.

I am a php beginner. Could you help me, please.
