Thanks for sharing that information with us.
It has enabled us to create an environment similar to yours to be able to reproduce the issue and find out if FooGallery is the plugin causing it.
For this test, we installed FooGallery 1.10.1 and used WordPress version 5.6.1, PHP version 7.4.3, and the default Twenty Twenty theme. There were no other plugins installed.
After trying this and carrying out further analysis, we have been unable to reproduce the issue. We highly suspect that it’s probably caused by a plugin conflict between the updated FooGallery plugin and another plugin you have installed.
To find out the other plugin causing the conflict, you’ll have to troubleshoot your site, which will involve using a really simple troubleshooting technique. Here’s a guide on how to carry it out and the plugin you’ll need to safely do so without breaking your site or inconveniencing your site’s visitors: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/general/general-troubleshooting/health-check-debug/
Kindly try this and let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,
Elvis.You can goto FooGallery -> System Info and paste the result you get here. That data will help us replicate your environment and hopefully reproduce the error from our end.
You can also take a screenshot of the “critical” error message you got.
Kind regards,
Elvis.Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the error.
Can you kindly share with us the logs/ critical error message which will enable us to identify what is causing the error? Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Elvis.Hi @erikggonc
Thanks for sharing that with us.
Just for further clarification, could you kindly confirm to us if the result that you have shared with us from FooGallery -> System Info is from a site that was going through the first or the second error message you mentioned to us earlier?
Thanks in advance for that.
Kind regards,
ElvisHi @erikggonc
I have looked at your error messages and after analyzing them, realized that this error is being caused because during the update it appears that some of the files somehow got corrupted and some of them are now missing.
To fix this, I’d like to kindly ask you to delete the FooGallery plugin from your site and then reinstall it again and don’t worry, your data won’t be lost since it is stored in the database.
Please try this and let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,

Hi @lrymill
Since the FooBox Lightbox plugin is a lightbox, it cannot be used to create any type of gallery or to display images on a page. It can only be used to open up and view images.
This means that it cannot do all of that, unfortunately.
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Elvis.Hi @kervadecg
Sorry for the late response.
We’re glad to know that you want to try out the PRO version! Here’s a guide from our documentation on how to activate the trial version which will help you out with this: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/general/faq/start-free-trial/

Elvis.Hi @jderooij
Sorry for the delay.
I have just had a look at your gallery page and observed what you mentioned. Could you kindly try using the default caption and description to see if this issue will still occur? Thanks in advance.
Here’s a guide on how to add and use the default caption/descriptions: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/foogallery/appearance-foogallery/captions-settings/

Pour changer la couleur du titre de l’image, vous pouvez utiliser le CSS suivant:
.fg-masonry.fg-captions-bottom .fg-caption-title { color: red !important; }
Pour changer la couleur de la description de l’image, vous pouvez utiliser le CSS suivant:
.fg-masonry.fg-captions-bottom .fg-caption-desc { color: green !important; }
Merci.
Sincères amitiés,
Elvis.Hi @maudc
To change the color of the image title, you can use the following CSS:
.fg-masonry.fg-captions-bottom .fg-caption-title { color: red !important; }
To change the color of the image description, you can use the following CSS:
.fg-masonry.fg-captions-bottom .fg-caption-desc { color: green !important; }
You can change the value of the color to your preferred color.
You can then copy the code snippet and go to the Edit page of that particular gallery and if you scroll down past the Gallery Settings section, you’ll see the “Custom CSS” section. Paste the code snippet on the text box below it and save. You can also paste it to your theme’s style.css file or custom CSS/additional CSS area.
Thanks.
