I just fixed a similiar ‘out of stock’ problem for varients that had stock and prices in them. The person updating the stock quantities had added info into the ‘inventory’ tab used for single products, as well as adding them for each variant. WordPress must have gotten confused and defaulted to ‘out of stock’.

This might be a fix for someone looking to solve this issue?

In my color-functions.php file, the content of line 7 isn’t the bit you just gave me, but rather this:

$t_id = $term->term_id;

That one you gave me is on line 8. However I replaced that bit of code on line 8 with the new one, and found that while the line 7 error message still remains when I go to create a new category… and still prevents me from assigning a color when I create a new category, it turns out I can assign a colour by going into the edit page of a category after I’ve created it instead. Not sure if that’s due to the new bit of code you just gave me, but… Yay anyway! It’s fixed close enough! Thanks so much for your help and being so attentive to the support forum! ??

That’s fixed the error message I was getting when updating the menu – thank you!

There is still the following error message on line 7 when I try to assign category colors (thus I’m still unable to set colors for the categories).

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/happymum/public_html/wp-content/themes/mesocolumn/lib/functions/color-functions.php on line 7

…In answer to my own question, it seems I can host offline if I select ‘redirect’ from the woocommerce settings instead of ‘force download’.

I’ve found that the ‘view’ link works only if you have the page format set to Image. This the removes the title from its archive page.

If you want the title to show, you need to set it to Standard or Gallery, though then you use the ‘view’ button.

As it is (unless the theme author offers a workaround) it doesn’t look like you can have BOTH the view button and the title.

The reference to a boxed or full width layout is here https://docs.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle/ in this part:

“Use full width layout?
This determines whether your layout is boxed or fullwidth.”

Also in Pinnacle’s Theme Options > Advanced Styling settings there’s a reference to a boxed width where it says under Body Background
“This shows if site is using the boxed layout option”

Somehow I completely failed to notice the youtube option in the toolbar (which now in hindsight is really quite obvious) and instead spent several hours of yesterday wading through responsive video tutorials and plugins. What. An. Idiot. *facepalms*

Initially I had the Topbar Icon Menu activated, but the background hover for each icon was just a lighter grey than the topbar.

I put the Virtue: Social Links widget into the topbar, but the hover background was still grey. However when I shifted the Social Links widget into the footer, the icon-specific background hover colours worked correctly.

So I deactivated the Topbar Icon Menu, put the Social Links widget back into the topbar and replaced #containerfooter with #topbar in the custom css section.

Moral to my long drawn out story… It’s working now! ??

Actually, please ignore everything I just said… I jumped the gun and thought this plugin would allow people to click and visit my own pre-defined social media pages.

I’d also really appreciate it if this plugin could allow the Editor to access the Analytics.

I’ve spent the day so far looking around at role manager plugins but they don’t seem to offer the ability to grant Editors access to certain plugins without paying for premium versions. Besides, to be honest, the last time I tried to tutu with a user role plugin, I broke things…

I just looked at the extensions and found something there I hadn’t (knowingly) installed and the problem has been solved now that it’s gone. Thanks for all of your help, I’m so glad it was nothing to do with the theme after all! ??

My default browswer is Chrome and I just tried in Internet Explorer – no ads when I view the site with that. Thank goodness it just seems to be Chrome causing the problem – not that I’m happy to now find out I have something dodgy going in with Chrome or my computer, but I am relieved it’s not an issue with the theme at least!

Oddly though, I’m only seeing these pop ups and text link ads (via Chrome) when I access forasgard.org (which isn’t run on the same theme) and the liss.forasgard.org subdomain. I’m also seeing them when I go to the theme developer’s site at https://www.towfiqi.com/ But I’m not getting this adware problem on any other website (so far) including the other WordPress powered sites I have. Urgh. I’m cursed!
