    Hi,

I’m such a newbie and shouldn’t be replying, but while researching my issues I noticed what you are looking for in the wp-config.php file. Good luck!

Thanks for your prompt reply…I have a .htaccess file and the only thing that looked suspicious was I had “RewriteBase /Wordpress” and “RewriteRule . /Wordpress/index.php” I deleted the ‘WordPress’ part as my Remote site is located directly in ‘somethinggoodhappenedtome.com’. There is no ‘WordPress’ folder. Unfortunately, my site “loads” but still displays nothing. I have a feeling that you are correct that something is amiss with my wp-config.php file. I added the line: define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’) as I read in another post that memory can be an issue. Still no load. I have confirmed all the DB settings in wp-config.php. Any other thoughts? Can you tell me what file is first needed after I type “www.somethinggoodhappenedtome.com” into my web browser?

I just read another post of yours saying to check the DB_NAME, DB_HOST, DB_PASSWORD, DB_USER settings. I think this is my problem as I have moved my file from a local usage to my host server. I will check these settings and hope this fixes my problem. Thank you for the lead…

Can you tell me how I can fix this error? I just uploaded my site from local to host and received this error from the functions.php file. The error points to an “else” statement.

    Thank you for any help!

I apologize…I am working locally on my site…can you suggest how I post my URL? My guess is that I should UPLOAD my site to my web hosting account and then post…is this correct? Thanks!
