Anyone? am i not making sense? or is what i want not achievable ?? Any help would be great.

Along the sides the owner wants to have images along the bottom… we might even get rid of the header background and have the side images all the way up rather then just below the black vintage header background image.. again we are wanting to have images along both sides of the content of the site..
