Cool, I was thinking something wrong with my system. I have been messing around to find a solution. All that work for no reason. hahaha

Anyways, so glad to have that sorted out.

As always, thank you for the awesome support and plugin.

    @franciscus

I use CloudFlare recently and found that CloudFlare cause the TTFB delay and Pagespeed will give you the “Reduce server response time” suggestion. The way to solved it is to cache full page but do remember to create rules for wp-admin or you will have issues with login.

This was a big headache when you don’t know. I was blaming my hosting company in the beginning thinking that it’s their configuration.

Test it out by disabling Cloudflare and you will see your TTFB a lot faster. Cloudflare even wrote about it here. https://blog.cloudflare.com/ttfb-time-to-first-byte-considered-meaningles/

I have WordPress auto resizing off. I didn’t want to have those extra files and I don’t use them. But I do see your point. And after installed this beta I see, it’s just as how Autoptimize was just a check to turn it on. I can just leave it off. Good stuff!

Can image optimization feature be an addon or something? Like for people that need it then they can click and it download and install the feature.

I see 2 things that I don’t really use and those are the image optimization and Google Fonts optimization. But I do believe there are many that want those features. Hopefully it’s just a click to add on.

I usually optimized all my images before I upload them. I think it’s good practice and more control.

I eliminated Google Fonts and all other fonts a few years ago. I am only using system fonts. But I do see a need for this with many people and most like me in the near future. I can’t build boring sites forever ??

Anyways, I like AO because it’s clean and lightweight. It only have useful stuff.

I can get away with a lot of alternative for many other plugins but not AO. There’s nothing out there like it. Powerful and lightweight. And none of your stuff are like in your face buy this buy that like many other free plugins.

Looking good. I will test it out.

As for 2.5, I am all for it. HTTP/2 not much matter because I did that through server side already. Lazy load and automated critical CSS is a much have, will makes life so much easier.

That does sound like a long wait. Maybe I will have to rethink it. hehe

By the way, AO already doing amazing job. I can’t imagine what else you can improve but of course there’s also room for improvement. I hope AO remain clean, lightweight and no bloat.

I love AO. All my WordPress has it installed.

I’ve dropped a lot of useful plugins over the years because they have became more and more bloated.

I am on my next dropped Yoast SEO, too many stuff on that plugin.

On the subject of Lazy Load, what’s your opinion on the SEO affect of it? I’ve read so many opinions. I think Google is smart enough now but what you do think?

I’m not sure what’s the exact cause but I did managed to fixed it with redirection inside nginx virtual host instead of .htaccess. Thank you for your response.

Wow, can wait for AO 2.5 with lazy load. I prefer to wait for it then to add another plugin on my WordPress install. Plus, if it built-in then there’s no conflict.

    Thanks again. You’re the best!

How long does those images stay in the wp-content/cache/lyteThumbs/ directory? Can I manually optimized and upload it back in?

    Awesome. Thank you.

By the way, do you know any good lazy load plugin for images that work well with Autoptimize and LYTE? Any recommendations?

Sorry, I could be wrong here. I am investigating some more. Could be something with my server.

I’ve tried and out of idea that’s why I’m hoping you got an answer. You’re always so helpful. Thank you.

I guess for now I will have to pause when I’m working on the site. When done resume. There’s no fixed or work-around it.

    Thanks again.

If I add these IP addresses then does that mean everyone can visit the website?

I’ve tried @auralsolutions solution and it works. “refill” no longer show up but it ended up causing a “Reduce server response time” suggestion by Google PageSpeed.

    Any other solutions?

As for CDN I don’t see any instruction for Cloudflare. Does it work with Cloudflare? I never use Cloudflare until now. In the past, my old server configuration just doesn’t work with Cloudflare. So I tried it and then passed.

This server however seem to be working with it. I’m still keeping an eye on it. I know I am still having minor issues with proxy ip addresses. Sometimes it so 3 ip addresses, my server ip, cloudflare and my location ip.

Anyways, can I use WP Super Cache with Cloudflare?
