Many thanks! Switching hosting services (to bluehost) solved many of the issues, including this one.
Sorry for adding another issue here, but a number of images keep getting dropped during build / install when migrating.
Per your docum and the warnings I get during build, I’ve tried several times to reduce image name file size, but that doesn’t seem to help.
Is there any rule of thumb re image name size? Or is there possibly some other reason images are not coming across…?
Cory,
Is there a file name length issue? Could that be what’s causing images to get dropped?
Cory,
I decided to go with Blue Host, brought the Duplicator files over and presto, it worked like a charm!
One small issue – looks like a number of images came across but are no longer displayable. I can live with this for the host migration, but I plan to use Duplicator for recurring dev to prod migration.
Any idea as to what might have happened and how to avoid a recurrence in a routine dev to prod (same host) migration?
Thanks for a great tool!
Cory,
As a final attempt to avoid the hassle of getting a new host service, can you tell me where to toggle the mysqldump option? I’ve searched LING user guide and FAQ – can’t find any reference…
Thanks…
I think it should be obvious by now that I need a new hosting service…;>)

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Translation – Attachment Promptsjust out of curiosity, why have just these 2 fields managed by the browser?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Translation – Attachment PromptsMeaning, neither CF7 nor WPML can modify these fields…and that, if the browser is running Chinese, these fields will appear in Chinese?
Cory,
Asia Registry tech supp informs me that Duplicator uses SSH and that they don’t support that.
– This is not typical, correct?
– Any way to get around this with Duplicator, or am I stuck using their DB copy routine…?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] reCAPTCHA – Not Recognized By Contact Form SettingsOK, I see now where the confusion is.
Google’s reCAPTCHA has its own key setting screen in WP. It appears that CF& uses its own key setting screen.
I’ve entered the keys in the CF7 screen and now it works!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] reCAPTCHA – Not Recognized By Contact Form SettingsMaybe not, but I have entered the keys and Contact Form 7 will not allow me to use reCAPTCHA.
OK, thanks!
Cory,
Many thanks for such a quick reply –
– I checked the FAQ page and confirmed all params
– I checked with my host provider and confirmed host sb localhost.
Still no go.
Can I confirm that the initial ‘Test Connection’ is NOT using any of the scripts created in the export process?

In reply to: Display Only Post Titles in Category PageActually, I have a better idea.
I’ve added <!–more–> after a brief abstract in the first row of the post. This enables use of images, sliders and a brief executive summary, which is a lot more flexible than a simple post title…

Thanks. I am surprised this isn’t simply a setting – this is such a basic requirement (in fact, I would have assumed it was the default).
I started with Elegant Themes The Professional, which has neither a category.php or an archive.php in the root (theme) directory.
Any suggestions where I might find the relevant php code…?
Thanks again…
