Usually simpler themes are better.
Improve My City theme runs separately from any theme applied to the greater extent possible.
But sometimes some themes shrink the area size of the plugin and cause problems.

This is a new feature request and not really a support question.
We are gonna implement this at some point.For now I am closing the issue.
