As you can see here: https://implecode.com/wordpress/plugins/ we use the plugin to showcase the extensions. Its always the newest version. The latest version didn’t caused any issues. It is completely safe.

What is more the updates never touch the database, so it is simply impossible to lose any of the data during the update.

Please provide more details about the problem that you have so we can help you to solve it.

It seems you made something wrong. The page https://76.162.166.191/products-2/ doesn’t show the content of your current product-adder.php.

First check if the file you created in theme directory is called: product-adder.php NOT product_adder.php
