Did you create an app like this: https://doc.usersultra.com/register-and-configure-a-facebook-application/

and paste the APP ID and Secret within UsersUltra settings?

Everything can log-in fine (so long as I enter my details, change the URL and hit Enter – i.e it doesn’t automatically redirect).

No issue with UsersUltra, I was just wondering if you had any Nginx rewrites that would work well for redirects (or if anyone using UU has an nginx config).
