Tg, I can include the images, no problem… they’re in png at the moment, but I’m more than willing to add jpg and gif exports to the mix.
Alright, you guys have convinced me. I’ll do a public release of this theme. I was thinking about adding gravatar support to the comments and making the comments section a little nicer… but I can just pop that into a newer version. I’ll put the theme up for download in a few days. (I’d like to do a little testing across as many browsers as possible first, even though the entire thing validates as xhtml and css).
Any suggestions for what I should replace the upper-right image with for a release? (As I think I’m the only one who finds imichaelj.org relevant).

A few minor touchups and a major css structure overhaul… and I think I’m done with it. Does anyone think I should bother make the page more scalable? (so major user-controlled font-size increases are handled correctly)
And seeing as I don’t have access to Safari, does anyone on OS X care to comment on how it looks?
    Thanks.

Hey, sorry about the way I originally posted. I forgot to enter my password. Bah.
Anyway, it’s pretty simple to change the color scheme. I’m working at simplifying it more though. As is, I’m using Photoshop image slices… so changing the scheme involves a paintbucket on the different slices and altering a few lines in the stylesheet (for link color, etc).
As far as downloading goes, I’m not going to consider it until I’m done with the design. I’ll make an announcement somewhere if/when I’ve decided to unleash the design to the world.

Thank you! If you want, I can try help you get it up… it was actually a pain for a while, but then I got the hang of it. The author put out a newer version yesterday… you might want to try again.
