In reply to: [AVH First Defense Against Spam] Update failedSame Update package not available error…
The last two versions have broken my site too. I’ve renamed the plugin folder to get back in.

In reply to: [WP-United : phpBB WordPress Integration] This mod appears abandonedI had to uninstall it since it was so broken and there’s no support/updates.

In reply to: [Daskal] BrokenYeah, there’s nothing really in the settings; skill level, ratings options and a check box for guests. The template option is empty because I used the default template instead of creating one.
I did disable and reactivate the plugin to see if that helped…it didn’t. I guess I could delete the plugin and try again but I’m not sure that would help either.
Oddly enough, if I change the post type to post, it shows up fine in the howto category. When I put it back to tutorial, it disappears again.
I tried…

In reply to: [Daskal] BrokenYes, exactly. All other posts and pages seem to appear correctly. If you can’t duplicate it, perhaps it’s theme related. I use the mythemeshop “splash” theme and it has another custom post type called reviews. The reviews show up OK though.
EDIT:
I decided to test putting the category in the main menu and when I goto /category/howto/ as a non-admin visitor I get:“There has been an error.
We apologize for any inconvenience, please hit back on your browser or use the search form below.”
Still nothing in the server’s error log though…
The tutorial does appear at: /daskal_tutorial/how-to-test-tutorial/ and it shows at the top of the tutorial:
Home ? How-To ? How-to: Test Tutorial…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Daskal] BrokenActually, Jan said that if it was a blank white page the error log might help but I did look there before posting, nothing.
In my case it’s edit.php?category_name=howto&post_type=daskal_tutorial
Then when I click on “all” or “published” it changes to edit.php?post_type=daskal_tutorial and then I can see the tutorial.
This one edit.php?post_type=daskal_tutorial&category_name=howto fails to list the tutorial too…

In reply to: [Daskal] BrokenAt least I can make them show up in the list if I click on “all” or “published” but I’d still like it fixed. ?? I assume that it’s a Daskal bug since tutorials are the only post type that does that but maybe it’s WP or theme related.
*shrug*Got it, without the quotes, thanks…

In reply to: [Daskal] BrokenEmpty as in no posts… ??

In reply to: [Daskal] BrokenHere’s how I can make it happen and then make them display.
Go to: Tutorials – Categories
Click one the number of posts (1 in my case)It then shows the category empty but if you click on all or published it then shows the tutorial.
I don’t know if it’s a WP bug or a Daskal bug but it ONLY happens with tutorials not posts or pages, etc…

In reply to: [Daskal] BrokenI prefer not to publish the URL publicly, is there a private message system here?
I don’t get it? Where/how do you set that default or is it set per post?
Do I just add “+6 months” (with or without quotes?) in the “custom” box?
