Hi @wfetfurmoz,
I am sorry, NGG doesn’t come with such a setting.
Alternately, you can copy the existing captions view, modify it then upload it to /wp-content/ngg/modules/photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails/templates/
Just make sure that your custom view filename includes *-view.php for NGG to load it.
Hope this helps
Hi @cressr,
Thanks for your reply. Pro Thumbnail Grid used to come with views, but these don’t appear now with the latest version of the plugin due to a bug that our dev team looks forward to having fixed.
Hi @kowkase,
Thanks for providing us with a link to a page that contains a NextGen Gallery Basic Imagebrowser gallery.
I’ve tested it on IOS in both Safari and Chrome browsers, and it both navigates to the next/prev images if clicking on <> buttons that appear below the image and opens the correct image in lightbox.
I should note here that the lightbox isn’t supposed to allow navigating to next/prev image.
Can you provide with a video screen capture while replicating the issue?
Hi @sarapatricia,
Could you please provide us with an example of 2 image files that contain the same metadata but that show different results after importing to NextGen Gallery?
We’d like to import those to our test site and inspect the results directly.
Thanks
Hi @anguscs,
We are sorry to hear of the problem. Could you please enable WP_DEBUG from your site’s wp_config.php file, then let us know what’s the error that you are getting? It usually should point to a file that triggers it.
Thanks
Hey @designguide,
This looks like a different known problem related with a conflict between NGG 3.50 and Imagify.
Our developers will reach out Imagify to share the fix but in the meantime, we suggest downgrading to NGG 3.41 that can be downloaded from here.
Hi @lapocerchiai,
NextGen Gallery 3.50 doesn’t come with such a file or reference, so it looks like a possible OPcache or filesystem cache related problem
We suggest you to check with the hosting support about flushing site’s OPcache, then delete NextGen Gallery plugin and install it new.
Please let us know if this helps
Hi @1fallenangel1,
Sorry to hear of the upload issues. We are not aware of it as being a known problem since 3.50 version, so we hope that you wouldn’t mind enabling
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
from your site’s wp-config.php file then check to see if you’ll get any details on the actual error code and the file that’s triggering it.Please let us know if you’ll come across any findings.
Thanks!
Hi @kingmaico,
We appreciate your report and are sorry for the problem caused by the undefined constant “NGG_PRO_ALBUMS” error.
As a temporary workaround, we suggest downgrading to the previous version of NextGen Gallery that can be downloaded from?here.
We assure you that our dev team will make fixing it a priority.

Hi @ispreview,
Thanks for the heads-up. We could replicate the problem with the preview thumbnails not being displayed while trying to add NextGen Gallery images from Classic Editor’s “Add media” option. Our dev team will inspect it.
Hi @zumbasan,
We appreciate your report, and sorry for the trouble with the template’s paths after updating to NextGen Gallery 3.50.
We have created a report for the dev team, and they’ll definitely look into fixing it as soon as possible to allow the previous template paths to properly function in NextGen Gallery 3.50 and newer versions.
Furthermore, we suggest temporarily downgrading to the previous version of NextGen Gallery that can be downloaded from?here so you wouldn’t have to manually modify the path for each of the shortcode.
Just as an update that our developers have contacted ARI Fancy Lightbox with the solution that needs to be implemented from their side of things to ensure their integration works with NGG 3.50.
Hi @acekin,
We appreciate the heads-up, and sorry for the inconveniences created.
We could replicate the problem with the “Gallery Settings” getting reset after updating to NextGen Gallery 3.50 and forwarded the report to our dev team.
