In reply to: [Store Locator Plus?] New Addon – User submitted locationsHi there,
I’m interested in this and I’m looking into having a similar solution coded at the moment but my requirement is quite specific. It would need to be bridged into s2member.
User accounts would need to be admin approved if account creation was outside of S2member.
Users would have the ability to add/edit/delete their own entries. This kind of functionality would slash admin times on many sites and therefore, be valuable to a lot of admins I think. Certainly valuable to me. Let me know your thoughts.

In reply to: [Store Locator Plus?] Allowing users to add their own locationsNo need to justify mate. Dollar keeps the devil from your collar. We’re all in the same boat there. It’s a biggie though, as far as paid for bolt ons are concerned. Anything that saves admins that amount of time will be worth a bit of ‘collar’ to them.
Good luck dude, and for what it’s worth, a $25.00 upgrade would have flown out of my pocket here. I’m probably going to pursue a coded plugin add-on solution for this myself, so if you want to drop me an email, I’ll keep you in the loop.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Store Locator Plus?] Allowing users to add their own locationsOur solution only requires the data entry to be available to approved members, so the unauthorised over use issue is side-stepped in our case. We wouldn’t even need to approve the data as we could edit or delete as we see fit. It would just be great to avoid all the unnecessary admin also. Right with you on this one.

In reply to: [Store Locator Plus?] Allowing users to add their own locationsI am facing the same issue. Need forum users to be able to add/update their locations and info to the locator without being let loose in the dashboard.

In reply to: Can't delete pluginsNo, will do tomorrow. I have other installations running 3.4.2 on this server though. Although they have been updated to 3.4.2. rather than being fresh installs. I’ll update here tomorrow. Thanks Esmi.

In reply to: Can't delete pluginsI can’t delete any of the plugins using the ‘delete’ text button which sits below the plugin name in the plugins list.
HELLO DOLLY
activate|edit|deleteIt acts as a link to the homepage in the exact same manner as the ‘visit site’ option top l/h corner. When I click the delete button, it just takes me straight to the homepage. I’ve tried uploading a different plugin and deleting it and it replicates the bug also.

In reply to: Can't delete pluginsIt’s a completely fresh install. The only reason I uploaded another plugin was to see if an uploaded plugin responded in the same manner as the embedded Akismet & Dolly.
