  • Thanks, I’ll check with our IT fellow to look to see if the plug in is there – I’m too scared to do anything on my own : – )

I may not be describing this correctly. When I go to tools/export, I see the words below and the exported file is not anything like to cvs file I was able to use last year (and all the years since starting to use WordPress) and I don’t see any where else to get an export…..

When you click the button below WordPress will create an XML file for you to save to your computer.

This format, which we call WordPress eXtended RSS or WXR, will contain your posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags.

Once you’ve saved the download file, you can use the Import function in another WordPress installation to import the content from this site.

    Choose what to export
    Content to export
     All content

This will contain all of your posts, pages, comments, custom fields, terms, navigation menus, and custom posts.

I used to be able to export my data to a cvs spreadsheet but can’t find any mention of it anymore. The export that I see creates something called xml and doesn’t have all the info I need and has 5 lines for each entry I’m looking st.

What I need is the ID#, the name of the illustrator, the name of the artwork image, the title of the artwork, the credits for the artwork, the category, etc.
