In reply to: [Admin Block Country] Blocking GooglebotThanks for your reply! Turns out it wasn’t your plugin. It was something to do with caching. I don’t know why deactivating your plugin solved the issue partially, but it did.

In reply to: [Gallery to Slideshow] Fatal error when running Gallery to SlideshowHi Matt – nope, I tested the plugin on the latest version of WordPress.
talkstory, you’re an angel. I would never have thought to look at the Screen Options. It’s a bit unintuitive that it’s set up that way. Maybe there should be a notification on the Settings page telling users there are more options hiding somewhere.
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for your fast response Scott! I found the data in the table, as you said. I think we’ll have to manually re-enter the redirects. At least we know for next time!
I’m having the same problem. I also don’t see an option to choose what parameters (categories, tags, titles) are used to display related posts – I saw that feature mentioned somewhere.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Double OG TagsAngryMetalGuy – sometimes you need to give Facebook a heads-up that your site has new OG tags. Go to this page and enter the URL of your site:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
It not only gives you an analysis of the state of your OG tags on that page, but it also acts like the “submit to Google” feature by submitting your page to Facebook. You have to give it some time to update, then check if it recognizes your OG tags.
Thanks so much! I can’t believe I missed that. Duh. Again, thanks.
I don’t see that option anywhere. When creating a post/page, there is no Keywords field available. There’s one that allows you to enter the keyword you want to focus on in order to optimize the post’s content, but not to add meta keyword data:

As for adding keywords across the site, where would you do that? I don’t see that on the Titles page, or on any other pages.

Thanks Joost!
Joost, how did you get it to sync your plugin and theme content?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] RobotsPretty!
I see – no robots info. I’m guessing again, but I think it only appears when you need to tell the bots something, i.e. to follow but not index, or vice versa. If the command is follow, index, then it doesn’t appear.
To see if that’s the case, try no-indexing a page or post as a test. Then see if the command shows up.
Maybe Joost can confirm at some point…

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Robotsshnozolla, are you sure you’re not seeing any robots meta tags? Can you share a link? What version of WP are you running?
If they are not showing up, could be a number of things (I’m partially guessing here):
1. Incompatibility with the version of WP
2. Conflict with some other plugin(s)
3. Something in your theme that doesn’t allow the plugin to do its stuff (I’m not sure if this is possible)Miriam
