In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeThat’s clear now…so how can I overcome the language situation? Maybe is it a set up on Algolia account in the facets?
Currently languages (all) are selected in Browse session, then in “configuration session”-> language they are all listed in both index and Query…In facets they were set up as “unsearchable”… If I change in searchable (as in the second screenshot), is it what we need?
I’m sorry if I’m asking stupid questions but this is the first time I’m using Algolia for a client…
Thanks for your patience!

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeOk, great! So let me see if I understood what I should do:
-upgrading the plugin WP Search with Algolia to the PRO version;
-setting “SKU” as a searchable value (the scripts written in the blog you mentioned are added in the code when I set up the values, right? or shuld I add them in the function.php or another file?);
-keeping the WPML-Algolia plugin active so I don’t have 4 results for the same product.
Am I forgetting something else?

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeImportant to mention: to filter the answer depending on the language (avoiding to have 4 results for the prodcutc “polly”) is a plugin called Search Support For WPML with Algolia. If I deactivate it and upgrading the wp search with algolia, is it able to filter the results as well and the SKU?

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeGood morning Michael,
after having been thinking over the weekend, I’m asking you a different perspective: what if I make searchable SKU insted of post_id? Should I do it with the basic plugin or this is something of the Pro version? Will it be easy to set up?

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeI would understand the language issue if the codes would vary, but each product has only one code that it would be the same for all the languages.
For ex: product “Lullaby” has the code 71439 in it, de. en or es.

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeYes, this is something that clients was asked for: so what happens is that architects or interior designs decide which wallpaper it fits fr their project and then ask for info about the price. Sometimes, they just have the code (post id) of the wallpaper and they search for it…but so far it doesn’t work, or it doesn’t fit.
I don’t understand why the post id (cod in the woocommerce session) is not found although the settings are fine…

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeAnother thing I observed: if you search for “polly” you get a roduct whom number is 69766, but if you then search for 69766 you’ll get the product “Lullaby” (code 71439)

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeInteresting…So I have 2 possibilities: one is languages in the browse settings, by flagging all the languages (should I select none of all?) or the other option is in the configuration section with languages (this I need for statistics).
Should I de-flag them? Here I attached the settings I have

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeDo you need to enter the dashboard of WordPress or Algolia account?
You can try on the website: https://www.tecnografica.net to search for products Id such as 74433, 74216 or 92121. You’ll see they are not found. Let me know what do you need to test the settings.

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeHi,
thanks for your reply. I still don’t get where it’s the wrong index, so I took a screenshot of the settings, so you can tell me where to look at.
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] Setting search for product codeHi Michael,
unfortunately it doesn’t work:
I’ve set up in the searchable attributes of wp_searchable_posts the option post_id; then in the wordpress dashboard indexed in the autocomplete session the products. What i need to know if there is another option where I should link the plugin to algolia account…Is there something I’m missing in these settings?
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] instantsearch.php and autocomplete.php not updatedHi Michael!
I have partially solved the issue: I had another plugin called Search WPML with Algolia used to have the search also available for other languages which had the autocomplete.php an instantsearch.php files not updated. Now they are and the error message is not longer coming.
For the second issue, is there a way I can send you the credentials privately?
When I try to re-indicize the data from Algolia->autocomplete when I update the products I have an error message saying there is a problem with a plugin (link to troubleshooting page). Is it possible that since Woocommerce is not updated (when I try to update it it gives me error 500 in the server) then I have this problem in Algolia products update?

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] instantsearch.php and autocomplete.php not updatedHi! Thanks for replying! No, I coudn’t find them duplicated in the Algolia folder, neither in others. So I don’t know why it’s telling me they are not updated (the only one I have is updated to the current version). I also have this error coming when I click “enter” in the search bar:
<# } #>
data._highlightResult.post_title.value
<# if ( data._snippetResult['content'] ) { #>?
data._snippetResult['content'].value
?<# } #>It is correlated??
