In reply to: [Plugin: ODLinks Manager] Missing Files & Fatal ErrorYeah if anyone knows of another directory plugin it would be great to know. I agree this one has seem to gone asleep and does not work.
How can it be deleted from the repository so other folks like me do not waste their time trying to get it to work?

In reply to: [Plugin: Open Links Directory] Does anyone have this working?Chuck I have had the same problem with this plugin, while it might seem great this plugin does not work. It seems to me that both of the developers plugins, odlinks and wp classifieds are doing the same thing. There is no area to input data, just settings plus the pages where the script says it will display does not work.
This plugin seems to me to only open a gateway into my system and sends data to the developers site according to zone alarm

In reply to: Upgrade error messageGreetings Andrew,
On some hosts, it is necessary to use the upgrade.php to update the db connections. If this is an upgrade, make sure you deactivated all of your plugins
>overwrite the indicated files and folders
>once finished type domain/wp-admin/upgrade.phpYou should get some indication that your db was either upgraded or that it is okay.
I had the same problen and the above solved it for me.
I hope this helps.

In reply to: “URL File Access is disabled” error?While this post is very old, I noticed that Tapos suggested enable allow_url_open and I am not sure what version of php that relates to but for me using this directive set works most of the time:
https://us2.php.net/manual/en/ini.php but check with you host to make sure.
For me the correct directive would be allow_furl_open = true
Thanks for the help Tapos, I had a similiar problem and your suggestion pushed me in the right direction to find the wrapper problem I was having when updating All in one SEO
I posted this for anyone who searches this forum and encounter this thread, will see some updated information.
Adios
Ike

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] tinymce integration doesn′t workI cannot comment to your issue but I am having problems since I upgraded my WP from 2.6.3 to 2.6.5
The TinyMCE does not display unless I have the NextGen plugin activated, otherwise the visual editor is gone and the function of the HTML option disappears. ONLY when I have the NextGen plugin active version 0.99.1 does the TinyMCE visual editor work. I have NO IDEA why these two should conflict at all. But there is a problem here with this new version of WP and NextGen. My older and original WP install worked without any problems at all.
Hope this info helps give you an idea of where to look….

In reply to: Problems after upgrade to 2.6.5 from 2.6.3Thanks twolanz until I read the post you linked in your post, I had a feeling something was not right with Filezilla.
I noticed when I got the file count for the upgrade folder on my local machine it was e.g. 100 and when I transferred using Filezilla the queued files would show a different number mostly less. It seems that after upgrading to the latest stable version of filezilla, it does not move all files and folders over.
I took the suggestion of another poster and upgraded using a nightly build and Filezilla worked like a charm. So this seemed to solved the issue of the TinyMCE visual editor not working but not quite.
For some reason I found a folder in wp-content/uploads/js_cache/TinyMCE.blab blah blah and after deleting this folder my and turning off and on NextGen gallery ONLY then did my visual editor come back. If I disable the NextGen gallery and go to new post, the visual editor is gone.
I have absolutely NO IDEA of why NextGen being active is dependent for me to see the visual editor. Granted I could care less about the editor, as I am able to post without it. But this is wild stuff for an application that so many people say is solid and stable.

In reply to: Problems after upgrade to 2.6.5 from 2.6.3This is the same problem I am having as well.
The tinyMCE gui is gone. If I activate NextGen gallery, it adds the correct icon for insert gallery to the “Visual” options areas but along with two x’ed out options as if the image was unable to load. But only two options, so there are two red x’ed options and a functioning NextGen gallery option.
I have searched as well for help and answers but I cannot find any. The browser tells me that an object was expected online 37 of https://surfinjaco.com/wp-admin/post-new.php here is the code from that section:
$post = get_default_post_to_edit();
include('edit-form-advanced.php');
I tried changing the file permissions, unchecking the visual editor in users and re-activating it. But nothing works.
This is not a huge problem but I already had issues with the upgrade and I have four more site to do this with. I am trying to find the answers for this issue before I upgrade the rest.
Help ??
