Hi @hollykny
Thanks. I checked for two emails on your subscriber list and I’m seeing proof that the email notifications were triggered and successfully sent for your post from 4 days ago.
I can’t share the emails I checked here without your consent and for privacy reasons. But could you confirm the status of this issue? Does it persist? If you could reach out to us privately to send us some of the affected subscriber emails, that would help.
Hi @jhmonroe
Thanks. This isn’t an issue that Jetpack should cause and I’m equally unable to reproduce it. On my test site with Jetpack installed, I’m not encountering any issues with the Block Editor and adding featured images.
I know you mentioned in that Gutenberg issue that deactivating Jetpack appeared to resolve the issue. I think there’s an indirect interaction going on there.
Could you try reproducing this on a fresh staging site? Also, confirm that there aren’t any issues with the REST API for your site.
Hi @danielvos
Thank you for reaching out about this. That should not be happening. Could you please log a detailed issue report here?
Thanks for reaching out. I’m seeing issues with the Jetpack connection indeed. That said, Jetpack connection issues on WordPress.com Business sites like yours are designed to auto-heal and when they seem not to, they’re likely masking other issues.
Could you please contact WordPress.com support regarding this? They’re in the best position to advise on the next steps. If they need further investigation from us, we have a process that enables them to let us know.
Hi @jaymzwayne
Thank you for letting us know. Could you open a new report about this here: https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/new/choose?
Please provide as much detail as you possibly can. If you can try reproducing the issue again with those Jetpack modules turned on, that would be great. While doing that, check the browser console for errors using the guide that @pehaa shared earlier on this thread and attach whatever errors you see in the console to your report.
Hi @munabaly
With Jetpack deleted from and inactive on your site and the Site Accelerator feature turned off, this shouldn’t be happening.
In any case, I’ve purged the cache from our CDN for the image you linked to. If there are others like that, please share them with us.
If you would like it to remain private, feel free to contact us via this form and mention this thread.
Hi @cedricvolk
Thank you for getting in touch about this. I’ve performed some actions on our end to make sure our systems are in sync with your site.
Could you confirm that everything looks good now?
Thank you for your detailed feedback.
It’s crucial for us to ensure Jetpack assists in GDPR compliance effectively. We invite you to share a detailed list of your concerns (both those you’ve shared here and any others) privately with us for an in-depth review.
Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?
We can look deeper into this if you’d like. If you would like us to do that, kindly contact us via this contact form.
Please include a link to this thread if you choose to reach out via that channel. Thank you.
Hi @superbsalt
Thank you for your patience and for sharing that extra information.
Jetpack Boost can indeed affect your CLS, not that it’s modifying your site’s layout directly. This can happen indirectly due to how it injects or alters critical and deferred CSS and JavaScript.
But, the way your theme is designed and how any other plugins that add UI functionality are coded plays a larger role in affecting your site’s CLS score.
For a comprehensive approach to site speed, keep in mind that Jetpack Boost is just one factor. Your hosting, number and types of plugins, and so on also influence your website speed.
Here’s a guide for a deeper dive into improving site speed: Improving Your Site Speed Score.

Are you still experiencing the issue? If yes, please check with your hosting provider for any security blocks affecting Jetpack connectivity, as mentioned previously.
I’d suggest contacting them and asking them to check their security logs for any blocked requests to the xmlrpc.php file on your site, using the
Jetpack by WordPress.com
user agent. You can also ask them to allow our IP addresses listed here:

Hi @theivo
Thanks for your patience.
We’re aware of similar issues with Jetpack causing E_COMPILE_ERROR. Try the following:
- Update Jetpack and WooCommerce to the latest versions.
- If the error occurs during update, wait for the process to complete; it usually resolves itself.
- Try the WordPress Recovery Mode to disable plugins temporarily (an email should be sent by WordPress to the admin email address when the fatal/critical error occurs), if needed, for further troubleshooting.
Let us know if this resolves your issue or if further assistance is needed.
Hi @thyagonet88
Thank you for your patience.
Restoring All in One Migration data to x2.com with Jetpack active shouldn’t cause issues.
Jetpack’s Safe Mode and Staging Mode are designed to handle changes in URLs to prevent any ‘Identity Crisis’. If you encounter any issues after restoring, Jetpack will trigger Safe Mode, providing you options to correct the situation. See our support guide for more information:

Hi @suijimanbu
Thank you for your patience.
Uninstalling Jetpack and disabling the Stats module/feature should stop all stats-related requests.
