In reply to: [Affinitomics] Shortcode not workingWe really want to help, can you tell me what the Affinitomics? are on the page / post you have placed the shortcode on? Are there four other pages / posts with viable Affinitomic? elements for it to interact with?
A demo of the same shortcode (in a widget) can be found here (on the right) https://prefrent.com/derek-alderton/: It sorts our founders based on overlapping skill sets. If you click each name, you’ll see it re-sorts the list accordingly.
Here’s the shortcode:

In reply to: [Affinitomics] Shortcode not workingPlease share more information, I want to help you with this.
Where was it used, and what attributes?
The shortcode won’t work if there aren’t any Affinitomic elements (Descriptors, Draws, Distances) for it to interact with. You may also need to export the Affinitomics if the pages or posts existed previous to the plugin being installed.

In reply to: [Affinitomics] Search only top or bottom of page?In your settings panel, under “JumpSearch ( search using Affinitomics? as context )”
Select “off.” Note that you will still need your Google CSE API key and ID.In the template you are using (single.php?) put the following piece of code:
include(ABSPATH.'/wp-content/plugins/affinitomics/google_search.php');
If you want to use the code on a page or post without modifying the template use a plugin like HitReach’s “Allow PHP in Posts and Pages.”
