No this is in the overall admin.

Search doesnt work, nor does admin pagination .

the subdomain is dropped from the path.

There were a few plugins that had this issue. I correct those. But I didnt want to dive into the admin core to edit these urls.

But, I managed to cover all that when I pointed my domain name to where my site is hosted.

site is hosted on subdomain.domain.com

and domainname is say: https://domainname.com/wordpress

so basically https://domainname.com/wordpress resolves to subdomain.domain.com

I changed all references from subdomain.domain.com to https://domainname.com/wordpress

But there manages to be some remnants of subdomain.domain.com in the admin and a few other areas.

Does wordpress use _SERVER[“HTTP_HOST”] and _SERVER[“SERVER_NAME”] any where in the site to display urls?

it wont hide it on all pages if I specify that it is only for the home page. I can target that modules class and id just for the homepage by using the body class on the homepage.

Thats what I thought. I had looked around at the functions to see if there was a away I could easily exclude the widget by the id given.

Might just cheat and set display to none in the css.

Have you tried to edit the css? Maybe the width in the CSS is capped at 585px?

I think I posted something similar. So I understand I am having the same issue let me state my problem….

If my posts are being pulled into a page named portfolio and when I click to view the full post, how do I get the url to be pagename/postname.

Is this the same issue?

If I have two categories set, featured and portfolio the url becomes featured/postname. Im assuming this is because the first category is selected alphabetically.
