hmm, f, I am using ff1 also and I’m not having this coding or ‘mushing’ issue…could you elaborate a bit and I’ll see if I notice anything outta the ordinary.

Nigel, The link will still be good….much thanks! and I have the quicktag setup right now to just enter the code but you have to edit the file name by hand, as opposed to having it prompt you…haven’t figured that much out yet ?? Just let me know!

Maybe some type of <?php wp_get_archives('arguments'); ?> call using a few limits such as specifying which category and then limiting the number of words per excerpts. Another idea would be to write something for my-hacks.php to call for this….I’d play with it a bit a see what I can come up with…
If its much simpler than this, someone please feel free to let me know ??

ckelley5, after making my htaccess file writeable, WP updated it, but i had to manually go in and remove the ORIGINAL rewrite that i had in there…after doing this, it works like a charm. Thanks….

for a ‘newbie’ as you put it, I don’t think you’d notice many of the changes until you were much more familiar with WP….I use 1.3a5 and I’ve found it to be very stable so far after about a month of using it. Just my two cents…

Your post made me think of something…I was using wp-comment.php from an older ver (not 1.3a5). I up’ed the new file and it reads the pass just fine. Thanks for knocking something around for me up there ??
