Okay I see that functions.php doesn’t get run until after the plugins_loaded hook, so anything put there doesn’t do anything.. so where do I put the add_action to plugins_loaded?

Ooooookay nevermind, problem seems to have fixed itself, after 45 minutes of poking. Maybe turning the permalinks off, then back on again, fixed it.
