Hi Mark, thanks for your comment! Unfortunately, the metabox is not hidden – it does not appear at all – even in the Screen Options menu – there’s no checkbox for this metabox which I try to reposition.

Your suggestion to put remove_metabox() function inside add_meta_boxes rather than in admin_menu also brings no effect ??

hydroplane: try to add empty string for the slug prefix when registering your post type:

register_post_type('my_custom_post_type', array(

andyvb: Can you please look at the error logs and paste what’s written? Perhaps it is a memory leak.. try extending the php memory_limit.

• Let the user define his/her admin folder in the wp-config file. Better security is always a good thing. (Think that this feature won’t take so much time to develop)
• Create role-management Page in the admin (or add the Role Management plugin to the core)
• Built-in Gallery manager
• Multilanguage support

I know that the last three are a lot of work to implement for version 3.0, but it would be nice to have them in future versions.

Don’t think this is a good idea. A Page is a page, why you want to make it similar to Post?

Can someone give an example how quick_edit_custom_box is used? I tried with no success, also I couldn’t find anything in the documentation..

WordPress 2.7 and still not working, even with the WP_MUltilingual 2.1 beta. When we should expect this to work?
