Kinsta doesn’t use Apache, only Nginx. Can you suggest an exact rule for Nginx based systems?
Got it. Thanks!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Updated and now it says homepage can't be indexedI got the same message after updating, but clicking the “fetch again” button did not remove the error regarding the home page… Any other ideas?
Edit: Clicking fetch and refreshing the dashboard fixed the problem for me.
Well, I’m putting that link into my email newsletters with the trailing slash. My email provider is adding the / and then the ?UTM stuff because I’ve enabled GA tracking.
I do have that option enabled, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference with the situation above.

In reply to: [Pinterest "Pin It" Button] Pin-it button not pulling up any images from postThat’s odd- When I inspect that page, I see that the image is being set as ‘post-thumbnail’
I will contact the theme developer.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Widget Entries] [Plugin: Widget Entries] plugin update+1 to this! I’ve been loving this plugin ever since I installed it two years ago. It has definitely clashed with things and I’m worried every time I update wordpress that it will suddenly kill widget entries for good. I’m definitely interested in an updated version (and I would be willing to donate a few bucks!)

In reply to: Visual Editor: Not working in WordPress 3.5+1 to Aaron’s tip. It worked immediately on my blog to restore the functionality of the visual (and text) editors.
When I upgraded my whole site went down. I went in via FTP and deleted the plugin folder– Site goes back up. I have a backup of the bad plugin on my local computer, and I have re-installed 1.5.6.
Here’s my problem: Now all of my old prettylinks are broken. Is there any way I can restore the links I created? I have the bad plugin folder, so they have to be in there somewhere… Anyone?

In reply to: [Plugin: WP-Members] Pick Your own Password functionality does not workI’m also unable to get the custom password feature to work. If you change the ‘type’ to password, I noticed that it will turn the password field from clear text to dots. This is good. However, the password is still being auto generated- it’s not being set to what users input on my form. Here’s a screenshot of my settings:

Hi- I am having similar problems after updating to 2.7. Like these users, filling in custom messages did the trick.
Here’s a question: What am I supposed to put in the password reset email? Is it just the [password] field that needs to be in there somewhere?
